The pocket measures approximately 8 inches by 10 inches and is embellished with a small linen ruffle as well. These bloomers are made with an excellent quality medium weight 5.oz /2 yds softened linen, unless you order White in which I use a lovely high quality heavy weight linen of 7 oz/r 2 yds. Made with a soft and stretchy elastic waist at the back and a sturdy linen ribbon drawstring buttonhole tie closure at the front for ease of sizing.
